unexpected space insertion (related to unusual unicode characters ?)

When I type this in the editor:

(ℕ-blabla 42)

clojure-mode automatically inserts a space, yielding:

(ℕ -blabla 42)

(this does not occur if I replace ℕ by e.g. N)
