MCAL fails to launch a mirth administrator when a plugin signed by a private CA is installed

Open jbeckers opened this issue 5 months ago • 1 comments

I have a plugin that is signed by out private CA. It's installed in mirth 4.5.0

When I run Mirth administrator from the web ui using java web start, this works fine.

When I run this via MCAL, it fails like this: afbeelding

I asked in slack, but there doesn't seem to be a way to fix this? https://mirthconnect.slack.com/archives/C02SW0K4D/p1709668758666329

If I understand correctly, the jks in mirth-client-launcher.jar!com/mirth/connect/client/launcher/cacerts.jks is used, and you can neither add certs to it (for it is signed), nor make MCAL use another jks.

Please provide a way for MCAL to use the system trust store.
