OK this is not only a text app issue: Screenshot_20240821_153021_Firefox

Where should this overlay bar be addressed that prevents you from using functions in mobile view?

Thanks for moving to the right place @juliushaertl.

I did a clean test install without any customization or app installs, and it shows fine: Screenshot_20240822_093712_Firefox

I will now successively install apps or change configurations checking when it starts to happen.

I could now narrow it down to whether the show folder description in the file app settings (main app view, not nextcloud settings section) is

  1. activated: error doesn't show
  2. deactivated: error shows Screenshot_20240828_105838_Firefox

If you disable it, the top bar isn't over the filename anymore?

skjnldsv avatar Aug 29 '24 10:08 skjnldsv

  • If I enable the show folder description (default setting for new user profiles), the top bar containing the filename works as expected: it doesn't cover the text editor's or pdf viewer's toolbar.
  • If I disable the show folder description aka readme.md), the error shows: 359900210-f9192569-3c99-42fb-b698-552de9cc28dc

I hope this explanation makes sense and is understandable.

I am currently without computer documenting all on my mobile:/

I am pretty sure I saw this too, but I am unable to reproduce it. Neither on upcoming Nextcloud 30 not on Nextcloud 28. Tried Text and PDF Viewer.

@thgoebel did you want to comment your experience here regarding your original https://github.com/nextcloud/text/issues/6558 ?

I don't see the point of duplicating the details I posted in https://github.com/nextcloud/text/issues/6558. All my info is in that issue, it's referenced here, so people can just follow the link. Standard "duplicate issue" procedure. I just silently subscribed and "+1"-ed to this tracking issue.

But yeah, this issue is still present for me on Nextcloud 30.0.4.

Yes, can confirm the persistence of the issue on 30.0.4 as well.

@pierluigizagaria could this be a similar issue to https://github.com/nextcloud/files_pdfviewer/issues/833?
