CDRT for all .md and .txt files (outside the note app)

Hello! We're currently trying to use nextcloud to sync an obsidian repo among different devices.

Currently the nextcloud sync causes conflicts very easily, especially when editing a .md note in coop. The note app is okay, but by having .md and .txt files synced, obsidian and other note taking apps can not only be "wrapped" by also cross synced, allowed for a lot more flexibility and freedom in choice.

We were wondering if it's possible to make it so that all .md and .txt files sync with the y.js CRDT?

The solution might be to designate all .md and .txt files as targets for y.js CRDT in the sync desktop application?

Hopefully this feature request wasn't way out of scope, because it would be awesome to have.
