Directory navigation links for current view in README.md

I have a public share with a lot of folders. I want to to list some important one within the share in a README.md that should trigger the same navigation as clicking on the directory itself.
Describe the solution you'd like Add a "File link" within the public share base, that can target directories under the current directory.
Describe alternatives you've considered I can list all needed file as external links, but they opened first in preview, then in a new tab, loading a new page, instead of just navigating.
I've tried relative link, but they opened as externals. I've even tried id links, with just #id192871, but it's also considered as external.
