Cannot use dropdown menus in translate popup in Text

Version of the Nextcloud server: 29.0.0 and 28.0.5 Version of translate 2.1.0 Language models downloaded: es and en

I cannot select the languages in "Translate from" and "Translate in" clicking on the dropdown area makes the list of languages appear for a very short time, but then disappears.

I'm using packaged versions of Firefox and Chromium in Ubuntu Desktop 22.04.
