Hi. I think this might be the reason for very inconsistent notification delivery. I've tried the same steps on a Chromium browser, and everything is ok there.
Steps to reproduce
- Have notify_push installed on the server
- Log in into the app and open a chat
- Open developer console, network tab
- Search for push, find the websocket connection
- Open messages
