Taskbar counter is lost after window reopen

Some Messenger Apps don't close, when you click the X. Talk doesn't either, but is minimized to the system tray. That's actually convenient but gets unhandy since the unread message counter then hides from the icon in the task bar.

I would suggest to implement a setting to keep talk always alive (not only in the system tray but also in the task bar) so that you can't close it in a way that the unread messages counter is hidden unless you force "exit" via the system tray icon.

Otherwise there is still a risk that users don't mention when they get a new message.

Perhaps adding the unread counter to the tray icon? i don't think having visible in the taskbar makes sense when the program is hidden

I think this is the best solution.
