Avatar and conversation flickering

Steps to reproduce

When refreshing the conversation list, the "Mise à jour de Talk" (in French) conversation avatar flickers. It happens only for this one.
When exiting a conversation, both corresponding avatar and conversation preview flicker. It happens for every conversation.

Expected behaviour

No flickering

Actual behaviour

Flickering.

Thank for reporting. This is known and should be fixed.

Some maybe related PRs which fixed the problem for other items: https://github.com/nextcloud/talk-android/pull/5205 https://github.com/nextcloud/talk-android/pull/5294

It would be fixed by migrating to the conversation list to Jetpack Compose but as this might not happen in short term, an intermediate solution could make sense.
