Missed call notifications with S-View case (Galaxy S24 Ultra, Android 15 / One UI 7.0)

Steps to reproduce

  1. Installer Nextcloud Talk depuis le Play Store.
  2. Utiliser un Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra sous Android 15 / One UI 7.0.
  3. Activer un étui S-View officiel Samsung.
  4. Recevoir un appel entrant avec l’étui fermé (téléphone en veille ou non).

Expected behaviour

L’appel entrant devrait générer une notification d’appel (plein écran ou équivalent CATEGORY_CALL), même lorsque l’étui est fermé, comme c’est le cas avec Messenger ou WhatsApp.

Actual behaviour

  • Étui ouvert : les appels sont bien notifiés (veille et non veille).
  • Étui fermé : aucune notification d’appel, seule la date/heure s’affiche.
  • Les notifications de chat fonctionnent normalement.

  2. Use a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running Android 15 / One UI 7.0.
  3. Activate an official Samsung S-View case.
  4. Receive an incoming call with the case closed (phone in standby mode or not).

Expected behavior

The incoming call should generate a call notification (full screen or CATEGORY_CALL equivalent), even when the case is closed, as is the case with Messenger or WhatsApp.

Actual behavior

  • Case open: calls are notified (standby and non-standby).
  • Case closed: no call notification, only the date/time is displayed.
  • Chat notifications work normally.

As i don't have a S-View case i can't test it but we will have a look what could be wrong.

Can you please add the diagnosis report? (Settings - Advanced - Diagnosis - share via upper right corner menu)
