NFC / Vibration at every tap in the screen

Open polaupa opened this issue 4 months ago • 3 comments

Steps to reproduce

  1. NFC is enabled (in almost every phone is always enabled, like mine)
  2. You have a NFC card in the back of the phone (i.e. in a wallet case)
  3. Vibration / Sound is enabled when you action NFC
  4. The app will vibrate / sound at every tap in the application

Expected behaviour

The application shouldn't have anything to do with NFC, and it is annoying that it turns on NFC at every tap on the screen, and thus, vibrates all the time.

Actual behaviour

The application vibrates all the time. If I remove the card from the wallet of the back of my phone it stops. Or if I turn off the global Android vibration.

it's not yet released. Did you try the apk from https://github.com/nextcloud/talk-android/pull/5589#issuecomment-3670201009 or does it still occur with this? I reopen at least until this is clarified.

Yes, I was too quick. Apk has solved the problem. Thanks!

Edit: when I type a message, the text disappears in the APK.
