Markdown table not rendering on Android app when text appears above it

Steps to reproduce

1. Send two messages in Talk:
   • One contains a text line followed by a Markdown table.
   • The other contains only a Markdown table without any text above.
2. View both messages in the Android mobile app.

Expected behaviour

The Markdown table should render correctly in both messages — with or without preceding text — just like it does in the Talk desktop app.

(See attached screenshot for correct rendering on desktop.)

Actual behaviour

When a text line appears above the Markdown table in the same message, the formatting breaks on Android. The table is rendered as plain text with no styling or column alignment.
