Do not ring when joining a conversion with multiple participants as the first visitor

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. When I create a conversion with 2 or more other people and then join that as the first participant, I hear a constant ringing sound until one of the other people join the conversation. This can be quite confusing since I do not call someone directly but only join a planned meeting. And when the other participants need 1-2 minutes to join as well I have a constant ringing for 1-2 minutes.

Describe the solution you'd like If a conversion is not just with one single other person there should not be an outgoing ring tone since you don't call someone directly but only join a planned meeting with multiple participants.

Describe alternatives you've considered Offer the possibility to disable only outgoing ring tones completely. At the moment you can not disable outgoing and incoming sounds separately.

Additional context Jitsi Meet and Microsoft Teams also do not produce "outgoing ring" when you join a meeting with other people. Microsoft Teams will only ring, if you call one person directly.

How is the situation on iOS? Should we add this as an option / change the behavior?

We play the ringing whenever we are the initiator of the call. If others leave and you're alone again, it will not be played again:

And it is played for 1:1 and group calls at the moment

The decision for now is: Only play ringing sound in 1:1 calls Everything else will be decided later on.
