Push Notifications Received, But No New Messages in Conversation
Steps to reproduce
- Another person sends a message in a Nextcloud Talk conversation.
- The user receives a push notification for the new message.
- The user opens the Nextcloud Talk app and the relevant conversation.
- The new message is not displayed.
- There is no option to manually refresh the conversation.
Expected behaviour
- New messages should appear in the conversation after receiving a push notification.
- There should be an option to manually refresh the conversation to retrieve new messages.
Actual behaviour
- Push notifications are received, but new messages are not displayed in the conversation.
- There is no option to manually refresh the conversation.

Is the message there when going back to conversation list and opening the conversation again? Is the message shown as the last message for this conversation when being in the conversation list?

It happens very often

No. After a long time (somtetimes minutes, somtimes hours) the message apperas in the conversation. At the WebUi the message is shown direktly

yes it is

Would it be okay for you to create 2 test accounts and provide credentials and domain via mail to marcel dot hibbe at nextcloud dot com ?

As said, right now i am not able to reproduce. Lets hope that the diagnosis reports give some hints.

Does it happen for all users at the same time? Just thinking about if there is some server hiccup sometimes which affects all clients.
