search in contact controller buggy on first search

Steps to reproduce

  1. create new conversation ("+" button)
  2. open search
  3. type letters that are contained in the participants/groups list
  4. BUG: the list doesn't show participants/groups that should appear. or at least some are missing!
  5. clear the search letters
  6. try again the same letters
  7. all participants/groups appear in the list

Expected behaviour

participants/groups already appear for the first search

Actual behaviour

first search fails

Hello together,

we experience a similar issue. When we try to search in the top search bar, we cannot find any users of our organization. After some time of using or searching we can than find all users.

App version: 17.1.2 Talk version: 17.1.1 Nextcloud version 27.0.2

Same here, I can scroll till the letter "G" and then the list ends, but I know there are other users.

App version: 18.0.1 Talk version: 18.0.1
