Redesign call creation / Share link directly when creating a public call

As of now it's only possible to create public links to anonyms users through the Web GUI. That should also be possible with the Android app.

Already possible? Click + top right, new conversation, click "Public call" -> "Done". Then select share from that conversation options list.

Clearly, if you already have a conversation, skip the creation part xD

Hmm, then this is a bug because I can't choose "Share" and a new conversation isn't created by just pressing done. I can only choose existing users on my Nextcloud, not just create a link.

Sorry, it's working, but the conversation list isn't updated when hitting the back button on the phone. I need to choose any of the three items on the bottom and then return to "Conversations" to get an updated list.

I suggest that when you hit done you should automatically be taken to the "Conversation" list (updated) or get an option to share the link directly by email or similar.

The flow isn't clear as it is now, and I should know at least - imagine new users. :)

get an option to share the link directly by email or similar.

Cool, with that we would be half way to use any push (notification) chanel #96, to get there, talk-android would only have to register for that type of links to automatically open in the talk app (if installed).

@testbird like I said before, this is already supported.

Hello there,

we are currently cleaning up old/stray github issues. Can you please retry with the current version and report back if the problem still persists for you?

cheers

Well, it works but as mentioned I think the flow should be updated. Right now you have to go back to the conversation list and long press to be able to choose "share link".

I think that option should pop up directly after you created the public conversation.

@sowjanyakch how long would a small screen after finishing conversation creation that has a "Share link" button, bringing up the same drawer you get when long pressing on the conversation list, take?
