It's not possible to select oneself in the new user column of tables 0.8

Steps to reproduce

1. try to select own username.
2. the search box doesn't show anything and it can't be overridden through manual entering of the own id.

Expected behavior

The user should be able to select oneself.

Actual behavior

The own user can't be found with the search box. Other users can be selected.
