Creating an interface for editing Rows of huge an diverse Datasets.

Describe the solution you'd like

The possibility to add a view to an app that only shows rows matching a query. It also would be handy to add multiple search fields to the view wich are limited to search in specific columns. If the fields presented by the edit dialouge could be dependent on the value of a field in that row one could create more complex and user friendly Apps.

I have a huge list of items that i would either search by serial number or description. I then would like to edit the found row which may use different columns based on its Vendor.
