Clear history not possible in one-on-one conversation

Talk 14.0.5 Nextcloud 24.0.5

On group discussion, in the Danger Zone, I can suppress all messages.

On one-on-one discussions, the option is non-existant ?

This is currently intended design. Could be easily changed from technical side, if we want this. cc @marcoambrosini

I don't think one user should be able to unilaterally delete all messages in a 1:1 chat. When we did the feature it we thought that that'd be wrong. cc @jancborchardt @nimishavijay

Tough one indeed.

Maybe if both side agree ?

Or if it's by design, maybe just graying the feature with an overlay to explain the situation might be interesting ?

(On a side note I hope it will still.be possible to limit history size in one on one conversations https://github.com/nextcloud/spreed/issues/7938)
