After upgrading Nextcloud to 24.0.10, the app (Version 1.5.0) doesn't work correctly anymore.

The error message is shown after a user enters the username and password: Unable to set user email: This parser can only read from strings or streams.

What works: the account is created and instantly activated.

What doesnt't work:

• no notification to the admins
• deactivation of the account
• making the new account a member of a specified group.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Does this issue still happens? It's possible the issue was caused by the Maps app: https://github.com/nextcloud/maps/issues/864

Please provide the output of nextcloud.log when the error happens as requested by the issue template.
