Welcome email after admin activates account

Is it possible to only allow registered users if this has been confirmed by the administrator?

Yes. It is possible. Please mark/check the option "Require admin approval?" in Admin -> Settings -> Additional page. Now registered users are created but are disabled by default. It would be nice if we have an option to send an welcome/instructions e-mail after admin has enabled the user account!

So we can send a welcome email manually. Since this request is still open, is it planned that this could happen automatically in the future? Or a setting for it?
