Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The "recommended files" column of the Dashboard, as well as the header line in the files app recommending "last edited" files are spammed by edits done by others in large shared folders.
Describe the solution you'd like Being able to restrict the selection of recommended files by the current user's edit history (as it is possible in the "Activities" app where you can show activities by yourself, by others, by all, etc.). I could imagine this setting to appear either in the /settings/user/activity page, as the recommendations seem to be mainly based on last activities in all folders.
Another possible solution: Manually excluding folders you don't want to appear in the recommendations (as this problem mainly occurs in few large shared folders it's easy to disable it for them, e.g. in their context menu in the files app.
Describe alternatives you've considered
- Disabling the recommendation column in the Dashboard - I'd like to use it though and the recommendations in the files app are still there.
