Classifying Videos won't let me debug

Describe the bug When I run /var/www/html/occ recognize:classify-video within or outside the docker container nexctcloud is installed in, nothing happens, no feedback, even after setting /var/www/html/occ log:manage --level debug running tail -n 6000 /var/www/html/data/nextcloud.log | grep recognize still gives me no hint.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. run /var/www/html/occ recognize:classify-video
  2. wait for few seconds: username@host:Dwill dessapear and appear again
  3. run /var/www/html/data/nextcloud.log

Expected behavior Recognize starts scanning videos or at least say me what am I missing.

Recognize (please complete the following information):

  • JS-only mode: actually I am not sure where to find this
  • Enabled modes: music recognition, geotagging by GPS

Server (please complete the following information):

  • Nextcloud 23.0.6
  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Processor Architecture: x86_64

Additional context In the NC GUI the checkbox for Video is greyed out. Am I missing dependencies? However /var/www/html/occ recognize:classify-music runs as expected. FFMPEG is installed ffmpeg version 4.3.4-0+deb11u1 in case it's needed Nextcloud is running in Docker: 20.10.17

I have the same issue, although after removing the app and reinstalling now audio isn’t working throwing an error but the image part is still working just fine. I don’t quite understand what’s going on.

I must admit that I didn’t found time in the meantime so unfortunately no update on this. Did you had any chance to solve this?

This topic still remains on my to do list but currently there are more urgent topics which I have to take care of in my spare time. Like getting my sever back online. Because I am switching hardware right now and still some parts are missing… so also no server to test on.

Recognize v2 is no longer maintained. I recommend to deactivate it until you are able to upgrade to v3 (which only supports Nextcloud v25). Thank you for your contributions!
