What went wrong, what did you observe?

Hello Poll-team, I have been working with the survey app for 4 years now and am very happy with it. However, I have recently had the following problem: I am using the survey app to enquire about participation in a sports event. I have two pairs of twins in the group who have different first names but are listed under the same email address under contacts. And I have children in the group whose names are listed under two contacts, i.e. these are children who are separated from their parents and have the same name and two different email addresses under Contacts. If I now want to invite the two contacts, one child - two e-mail addresses or two children - one e-mail address, to a survey, I cannot do this. Only one contact ever appears, even if I can enter, display and select the second contact in the ‘Shares’ field, it does not appear with the others. I was able to solve the problem with one child - two e-mail addresses by adding consecutive numbering to the child's name. The problem with two children - one e-mail address, I could only solve if the parents would give me a second e-mail address; which to be honest would be very inconvenient for the parents. In previous versions of the survey, this was not a problem! I have all the children in a year in one group, so in the past it was possible to select only this group to send the survey invitation, but now it doesn't work. Can you change this so that it works as it used to?

What did you expect, how polls should behave instead?

That you can enter the contacts that are summarised in a group in the release field and all associated contacts take part in the survey. Contacts with the same name and two different e-mail addresses or two names with the same e-mail address can also take part in the survey.

What steps does it need to replay this bug?

1. Einen Namen zweimal unter Kontakte anlegen und bei jedem Kontakt eine eigene E-Mailadresse anlegen.

2. Zwei Kontakte mir unterschiedlichem Namen anlegen und jedem der Kontakte die gleiche E-Mailadresse eintragen.

3. Eine Umfrage starten und versuchen die vier Kontakte für die Teilnahme freizugeben.

I do not have a solution now, but maybe a suggestion:

• If you have one child, but want to inform two email addresses, you can invite one of the two email addresses and forward the link of this invitation to another email address manually by copying the share link. This way the link is usable by both mail recipients
• Two children with only one email address: Depending on the mail provider you can add an appendix to the name which will be discarded by the email provider and only the part before the appendix will be used to deliver the mail. i.e.:
  • Sarah will be invited by [email protected]
  • Sandra will be invited by [email protected] Both mails will be delivered to [email protected], but from the senders view they will be different mail addresses.
