[Feature Request] Display checkboxes as a "Week View" type calendar...

I might just be ignorant of the proper use of the UI, but I tried to make a meeting date & time picker recently. I had an expectation that if I added individual days, then added time options that it would either display days as rows and times as columns, or vice-versa.

I couldn't get what I wanted so made a text poll with the names of weekdays as options followed by a grouping of one-hour time slots as other options. This was sorely lacking because it's the intersection of those two vectors that I really wanted.

This might be a ludicrous and ignorant idea, but perhaps it would be a good idea to add a second vector feature to polls in general. e.g. most people I know like Chinese Cuisine, and also like cheese, but nobody who votes for both on a normal text poll wants them together on the same plate.

Some intersections of options can't be made in many life situations, like hardware and software solutions could be a two vector poll voting decision, where some software desired by departments can't be run on some choices of hardware/OS combos that the tech people desire highly. A two vector poll might have the ability to solve such a choice because there wouldn't be checkboxes on the matrix display where it wasn't possible.

If the Date Poll had two vectors, selecting good times on Monday and different good times on Thursday would be a snap. Finding that difficult to manage perfect date AND time for a group of people would be far less complicated.

So, if I understand you right, you request a calendar view for the possible poll options with checkboxes for the possible options?

This issue is marked as stale, because it had no activity in the last 30 days. It will be closed in 5 days.

Even though I'm not 100% sure whether I understand the feature request right, so just to be clear: This issue is about adding a "calendar view" for participants of date polls?

I just recently learned that Doodle supports this, see screenshot below. However, I don't feel like that this is implemented very well, especially for polls spanning multiple weeks: You see this little "+3" on the arrow right next to "März 2022" (March 2022)? It's the only indication that there are more dates available in the next week(s)... It feels a bit clumsy for one or two options per day, too. Getting the UX right isn't trivial here...

That is the point.

I'm also interested in this feature

Using the Doodle view as base:

  • the UI should allow hiding days without a poll
  • Inside the choosable boxes, tick-boxes should appear
