Add a description to a photo

Describe the solution you'd like As uploader of photos I'd like to add a description to a photo. Some words or sentences. No special formatting needed. When sharing the photo folder the description to each photo should be displayed below each photo.

Backgrouond: as a trainer I'd like to provide a "photo journal" of a workshop and add additional notes to photos of flipcharts etc.

Describe alternatives you've considered Nothing yet. I didn't want to install another photogallery on my webspace and use nextcloud instead.

The collaborative tags would work for this. The Tags are not display in Photos, only in File & Folder view.

Isn't this the function of comments? If you comment the photo, your writings could be the notes you are looking for. Do you agree?

A description should be displayed near the photo or video. I don't recommend to display a (possibly) huge amount of comments in this view.

My intention was to just put some descriptive words (100 max.) to a photo. I don't want comments (may be from others) to "spam" the photo. So no tags, comments or other things already there.

I fail to see the point of this app if I can't at least add a description visible in a slideshow. Might as well share a folder.
