zoom on mobile
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. When sharing photos via link and opening it on a mobile device, I cannot zoom.
Describe the solution you'd like Enable zoom on mobile.
This needs some some attention. In using Nextcloud Photos as a photographer, sharing images with clients, they want to be able to zoom into the images. Not being able to pinch to zoom in the mobile web browser is borderline a bug in my opinion; lacking such a core function.
It would be great if there was a solution to allow for zooming on mobile!
I have tested this with Apple devices, an iPad running iPad OS 15.7 and an iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 16.2. Unable to pinch to zoom. Only work around is to tap Download, then view, then the web instance is replaced with just the image and you are able to zoom. A cumbersome solution. We need a proper solution.
Zooming functions properly on desktop browsers when you scroll with a mouse wheel. This should apply on mobile browsers with a pinching gesture.
This doesn't only affect Safari on iOS but also Firefox and Chrome on Android. Firefox/Chrome on the desktop are working fine (various zoom levels via mouse wheel).
A double tap on the photo on mobile gives one small level of zoom, but pinch zooming or any other kind of zooming does not work.
Exactly, I can't zoom photo with my fingers on mobile screen with shared link. When I share photos with my friends it's quite issue.
Is anybody going to work on it? If somebody points me where to find it in the code, I can try to help with it.
