Auto-sort of photos (possibly files)
Today I noticed a function of [Android] auto-upload called "use subfolders", which sorts my uploaded photos according to their date taken into separate subfolders. However, I already have a long list of unsorted photos and there is not a feature that will help me sort those out. As a proposal, I'd like to be able to sort the messy folders with one tap. The subfolder categorization can stay (2019 - 09).
I would like to be able to select a whole folder and tap "auto-sort by date", which will take care of that. Another idea is to have a function "auto-sort by filetype", which sorts the contents of a folder according to their filetypes (pictures, videos, text files,..) into separate folders.
However, I already have a long list of unsorted photos [...]
Already uploaded server-side or located solely on your phone?
