Hitting Enter doesn't go to new line
Please make a clear and concise description of what the bug is. Please note, that issues with the Android app have to be reported under https://github.com/stefan-niedermann/nextcloud-notes/issues and issues with Nextcloud's Text app have to be reported under https://github.com/nextcloud/text/issues .
Steps to reproduce
- Make a sentence without a final period.
- Attempt to hit Enter for new line, returns to previous.
- Add a period to sentence and now it'll work.
Expected behaviour
Let me type without proper punctuation, if that is even the word.
Actual behaviour
It forces me to add a period after every line I write like an annoying school teacher

Sorry, but I can't reproduce this. Could you please provide a screenshot or (better) video?
Same here, a screenshot and browser details would be nice. We've seen such issues in text with mobile browsers exclusively for example, maybe something similar happens with easymde/codemirror here.
Coming back to this, I believe it may be related to Gboard's auto punctuation function if that makes sense? Using Gboard at least, things seem to act strange with the mentioned issues. But it could very well be something else related to the keyboard's functions.
But I can't test nor confirm this at the moment.
Browser is Chrome, phone is an S21 running android 13.. and yeah, using Gboard.
