Ctrl+S opens new empty tab

After updating to the latest version, pressing Ctrl+S after editing a note no longer saves the note but instead opens a blank new tab.

Server

  • Nextcloud version: 27.1.2
  • OS: Linux/Docker
  • Web server: nginx
  • PHP version: 8.2.11
  • Database: MySQL 11.1.2

Client

Please complete the following information.

  • Browser (incl. version): Firefox 120.0.1
  • OS: Arch Linux

404 GET https://REDACTED-NEXTCLOUD-SERVER.com/apps/notes/note/undefined

Server Notes app version: 4.9.1 Nextcloud version: 28.0 OS: Debian 11 Web server: Apache PHP version: 8.1.26 Database: MariaDB

Client 1 Browser: Firefox 120.0.1 OS: Windows

Same here!

It's just a bit ennoying when you are like me and you press Ctrl+S a lot while writing!

Server Notes app version: 4.9.2 Nextcloud version: 27.1.5 OS: Debian 12 Web server: Nginx PHP version: 8.2.14 Database: MariaDB

I can reproduce this as well on latest versions (28.0.3 of Nextcloud and 4.9.2 of Notes) when using the traditional markdown editor (i.e. not the new Nextcloud Text collaborative editor).

I cannot reproduce it anymore, which is weird, because the app was not updated in a while. Perhaps some change on the Firefox side? In Chome, it opens the Save As dialog

Huh, yup, I also can't reproduce it now. I guess indeed a Firefox or Nextcloud update fixed it. Going to close this.
