Unable to edit notes

Describe the bug

Set "Notes opening behavior" to "Plain preview". Create a note and add some text, then exit the note. Select the note again then tap the "Plain edit mode" FAB in the bottom right.

Actual behavior: nothing happens

I can edit the note

I have experienced this recently as well. Also v4.3.1, on an Asus Zenfone 8.

I initially thought it was related to my having done tasks within the Notes web interface (moving notes, tagging them, edits, etc.) but I haven't edited any notes on my server for more than a week and the Notes app remains unable to edit any of my exiting notes even after removing the account from the app and re-syncing.

Ah, I think I see why now. Browsing down further, my issue is the same as #2597.
