Generate previews is split over 2 modules

Generate Previews is both in tools and in config. If they do the same thing, then 2 suggestions:

  1. specify a time for the generate-previews. I can specify a runtime but when does it start?
  2. merge the two separate modules into one, by adding a button 'Generate Previews NOW', and remove the one in 'tools'.
