Steps to reproduce

1. Open a shared link (german localiced)
2. at bottom the link points to the english nextcloud site

Expected behaviour

The link should point to the german site

Actual behaviour

link point sto teh english site

AFAIK this is intended behaviour because the Nextcloud website is only available in three languages anyway while Nextcloud itself provides lots of different languages... what do you think @rakekniven ?

Normally the website language should be detected by browsers default language.

It is a good point, but I’d say that this is rather an issue with the website and needs to be opened at https://github.com/nextcloud/nextcloud.com

That is, if you access the website and your primary browser/computer locale is something else than English (like German or French, which are the other 2 languages available now), it should automatically be served in that language. cc @jospoortvliet @MorrisJobke for reference.

Right – I thought about transferring, but since the request would be an entirely different one and more general for the website, it makes more sense to just open a brief new issue. :)
