Not working with Thunderbird 60.2.1 64 bits

Open Desiderius77 opened this issue 5 years ago • 3 comments

Hi all

I try to install this add-on on my Thunderbird 60.2.1 64 bits under Linux 4.19.19.

First I have dowloaded it from the Thunderbird extensions site.

Then I have git cloned this site to test the latest version.

In both cases it does not work

  • the extension is well installed in Thunderbird after a restart
  • but when I go to Preferences=>Attachments and try to add a new storage service , I only see "Box" and nothing else ! In particular no Nextcloud link !

I assume you had used nextcloud-filelink in this profile earlier. You have to remove this earlier account from your profile, as only one account per provider is possible.

Scan your prefs.js for lines containing "mail.cloud_files.accounts". Delete them if any.

Hi Alfred I have looked at pref.js in my Thunderbird profile and ... No lines containg "mail.cloud-files.account" Of course i have try to install nextcloud-filelink many times without success but each time i have installed and desintalled it using Thunderbird extension manager. May be a problem with my profile : i will test tou lanch Thunderbird with a new fresh profile

Just try with a new fresh profile and ... it works ! Surely a problem with another extension. I will try to create a new profile adding each extension one by one to see
