Compact view: news list starts with second entry (first one is hidden)
Explain the Problem
In compact view, using Google Chrome, the first line of the news list is hidden with the nextcloud top bar (the header, where the active apps are listed). You have to scroll one line upwards to see this (already as read marked) entry. With Firefox, everything is ok.
Steps to Reproduce
Explain what you did to encounter the issue
- Use Google Chrome
- Use the compact view
- Click for example on "all articles" or any other news folder
- You can see that the list with the news starts with the second (!) entry.

We currently have no ui-dev and the fronted probably needs a complete rewrite....

Happens in Brave too. Can be reopened?

On Vivaldi (2.11.1811.52) it's the same - which is to be expected, based on Chromium (User-Agent ... 80.0.3987.163... ). Did anybody have a chance to look into this?
Nobody is doubting this happens, there's just nobody that's able to fix it.
@beedaddy @figue @codeling Can each of you post a screenshot of this? I'm curious of how this looks for you.
Depending on that, I can maybe do some designs if they are needed.
Since the app was unsupported, stopped using it a year ago.
@ei8fdb In the first screenshot, you can see on the right side, that the scrollbar is not on the top but has already scrolled down one line. Second screenshot shows this hidden first line after I scrolled up (manually).

Simply when you change from one folder to another it starts a little scroll down that hides the first entry:

Then if you go up, you see the first. It's only a bit annoying...

@ei8fdb it looks exactly like beedaddy's image above in my Vivaldi browser - just like it has already scrolled down some, immediately after I navigate to the page.
I can't reproduce this in v19
Same here, looks like this issue is fixed!
