Podcasts should begin playing immediately after download completes

I've been using Nextcloud News as my podcast player for a couple months, and have run into some problems with it.

When I choose to download a podcast (vs. stream), I have to tap the play button again. Instead, the podcast should begin playing immediately after the download completes.

Just my two cents on this: Personally I'd prefer not to play downloaded podcasts immediately, since I tend to download several items in advance so I can listen to them later, when I won't have an internet connection. Immediate play would make a less pleasant UX in this scenario. So I'd like to suggest to make the behavior configurable when implementing this feature.

I fully agree that there should be a way to download only. But since you currently press the play button to initiate the download, it should start playing after it completes. When you press a play button, something should play.

Yeah, good point: A play button that doesn't play doesn't seem intuitive. So, if there's enough room in the UI, a separate download button would make sense and the play button could behave just as you described.

And then I download twenty files for a long train journey and suddently they all start playing? :D
