Podcast Stream stops after 15-20mins

When I'm listening to streamed podcasts, the audio playback always stops after listening 15-20mins to the stream. To continue listening, I have to start streaming again from the very beginning and jump forward by pressing +30s multiple times.

I have to repeat this every 15-20mins because News keeps stopping the audio playback on my Pixel 5 running CalyxOS 2.11.0 (Android v11).

Any ideas how I may fix this?

Thank you for the report. Which version of the app are you using? Are you keeping the app in the foreground or do you have the app in the background and the phone locked?

I'm using Nextcloud News v0.9.9.66 (latest, installed from F-Droid) and the app is in background while the phone is locked.
