Cron www-data@server /usr/bin/php -f /mnt/data/var/www/nextcloud/cron.php fails with the following error message:

A couple of problems concerning geo-photos on external storage and maps have been adressed in the current rel maps 1.6.0 (https://github.com/nextcloud/maps/pull/1431).

Could you re-verify your findings with the current release? In my experience, there are still issues with the external_files app (e.g. sftp and smb storage provider), which seem to fail during file-access occasionally.
