Can't set or edit links when writing an E-Mail

Steps to reproduce

1. Open New Mail or respond to Mail
2. type something
3. try to add a link to the written by clicking on the chain symbol

Expected behavior

Window opens where you can enter the link or change or input a link

Actual behavior

nothing - courser jumps to the beginning of the mail

I've detected that whenever the input field for the link URL receives focus, for some reason, focus is transferred to the "chain" button in the toolbar of the editor, so it's not possible to add links. I'm on v3.6.0-beta3.
