Invalid passwords or IMAP login errors do not trigger a comprehensive error message for existing accounts

- Set up an account in mail
- log in
- change password or shut down your IMAP server
- try to open mail app

Does the account not show a exclamation mark in the navigation? That was the error handling we once added. Nothing more, nothing less.
And I assume the loading of the page slows down.

Our error handling still works. It is handled and the account shows the special error icon. I'm able to change account settings as well.
It gets weird if the password was changed only <2h ago. Then we load the mailbox and try to continuously sync it and potentially lock ourselves out of the IMAP server.
