Can't select E2E encrypted folders while uploading out of any app
Expected behaviour
When i try to upload a file out of any ios app, e.g. Keepass Touch, it should be possible to select E2E enrypted folders as any other folder.
Actual behaviour
E2E encrypted folders are not displayed, so can't be chosen for upload.
Steps to reproduce
- Create an E2E encrypted folder in Nextcloud
- Make sure this folder can be used in Nextcloud IOS and files can be uploaded
- Start Keepass Touch on ios
- open your keepass database
- upload the database to nextcloud out of the app
iOS version
12.3.1
App version
2.23.7.9
Server configuration
Operating system: Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS Web server: Apache Database: MySQL PHP version: 7.3.7 Nextcloud version: (see Nextcloud admin page) 16.0.3
I have the same problem. The (encrypted) folder shows up (and is marked as encrypted) within the Nextcloud iOS app (as well as on my desktop computer (macOS) just fine. However, I can only choose unencrypted folders when sharing a file via the iOS share sheet from another iOS app. That it, all encrypted folders do not show up in the folder list.
What I tried and what did not solve the problem:
- Creating the folder on the desktop and encrypting it from within the desktop client (macOS)
- Creating the folder and encrypting it from within the iOS client
- Sharing from different iOS apps (PDF file from within Safari, Sanner Pro)
- Using the option "Nextcloud" as well as "Open in Nextcloud" from the iOS share sheet
Nextcloud version
19.0.1 (I know there is 19.0.2 available; however, I'm using a Storage Share instance on Hetzner which I'm not able to update myself; will test when 19.0.2 gets available)
End-to-End Encryption app version
1.5.2
iOS app version
3.0.6.8
This is now fixed
