Let .odg files be opened bij LOOL/COOL
Expected behaviour
Let .odg files be opened bij LOOL/COOL like other ODF files (.odt, .ods etc) in the IOS App. Tough not "officially" supported by LOOL/COOL yet (as there is no offical Dray yet) exitising .odg files can be opened leveraging LOOL/COOL in the Nexcloud web interface. This way one can at least view these files.
Actual behaviour
If you open a .odg in the App just a white page is showing an the file is not opened.
Steps to reproduce
- Have a my.odg file in your Nextcloud
- Open the Nexcloud IOS App
- Select the my.odg in the App, the file is tried to be opened. As there is (I guess) no rederer a white page shows instead of opening LOOL/COOL

@sebastiaanveld thanks for your help, try the build (13) when available.
Thx!
Hi Marino, performed testing on (14), when selecting an .odg it is not opened with LOOL/COOL but instead the IOS Open With/ Send To etc toolbar shows up suggesting to open with a local App.
That makes me wonder also: is there a way (planned) to like default to opening ODF/OOXML (and other supported formatted) docs using like LOOL/COOL but also have a build in ability in the IOS App to select Open With Local Editor> choose a local installed app on the device for local editing. This would service the purpose of having the option for co-editing and rich editing using COOL/LOOL and also having a failback to local installed apps in case cloud edit is offline or not needed... one day there may also be an LibreOffice IOS App that one could leverage for local viewing/editing ODT formats:)
Q: Does the current solution in the App first download the doc locally and then open with COOL/LOOL by uploading it again, or does it leverage the file link in Nextcloud and hand that off to the editor so no file data is up and downloaded?
Regards , Sebas

@sebastiaanveld iOS is not a OS as mac OS and (with the possibility of associate a program to extension), and I can't use inside Nextcloud a specific program for associate this to a specific extension, not for a technical issue (even if not always), also wanting LibreOffice don't have an App for iOS with associate an particularly URL Type
The open in is the the one possibility for now.
I don't know if this is clear ? :-)
@marinofaggiana ok I understand that. But from what I test opening any file doc(x) / xls(s) / odt / ods etc open with LOOL (even if a local editor is installed on the device), so that is exactly how I want it:) Then if you want/need to use a local editor you can always use Open With from the advanced file menu (the "..." behind a file).
What I do not untherstand: why does selecting a .odt open the file with LOOL and selecting a .odg start the Open-With dialog in the App? I would say this is just something that is configured this way, right? I mean, why does selecting an .odg file make the App think it cannot be opened with LOOL? Or is this a limitation in the "API" you leverage with the App connecting to the Nextcloud service? That would be weird I guess as selecting the same .odg in the NC Web portal just opens fine with LOOL.
I'm just trying to find out if this is something in the App or if we need to file this as an issue in the NC server side. Or did you mean it is an IOS issue as it does not unterstand what to do with the .odg "format" so you cannot hand it over to LOOL in the App and so then the open-with dialog is popped up?
THX!
It would be really nice if nextcloud ios could preview openoffice/libreoffice files the same way than msoffice. Eventually edit. Still not possible with app 4.9.2.20 on nextcloud server 27.0.2.
