Steps to reproduce

  1. Auto-upload enabled
  2. Take a photo
  3. Go to Nextcloud iOS app /Photos

Expected behaviour

Folder /Photos/Photos should not be generated.

Actual behaviour

By default, a /Photos folder exists. For some reason, Nextcloud iOS is generating a new sub-folder Photos — which is always empty. So, it looks like /Photos/Photos.

Auto-upload is copying the new photos into the appropriate folder: /Photos/2025/…. But a /Photos/Photos folder is constantly being generated. I delete the /Photos/Photos folder, but it reappears, and nothing is ever copied into that path.

Logs

If applicable, you can post the iOS app or server logs (removing any sensitive information).

Reasoning or why should it be changed/implemented?
