„Force All Start“ Button & cancel single item & “Force start” for error items
phrases in quotes indicate UI element titles.
Complicated User Experience
Upload was stuck with 1200 pictures/videos (including shared and auto-uploads).
After some meddling with the “Transfers” page, I found two possibilities: “force the start” for a single item and “cancel all transfers”.
After hitting “cancel all transfers”, all auto-uploads were removed, and I was stuck with 180 shared uploads. I then tried to manually “force start” them.
It worked out but it was a pain in the ass to long-press ALL of them and confirm the start. After doing so, auto-upload seem to return to normal operation.
The ugly
A large chunk of auto-uploads is gone. Fixing such a situation on a smartphone is a really time-consuming activity. 😒
Idea
Add a button: “force start all” (like the 50 in the queue). Funnily when forcing the start, the upload is successful within seconds.
However, I could neither cancel nor force start an error-item (there was only one at the top of the queue). Therefore, I “canceled all” of them as described above.
Info
The uploads were stuck with all the following statuses:
- error: WebDav resource locked
- Waiting for upload
- Uploading
