ios, cache, pictures, hugh amount etc
hey guys, simply admit well that next cloud app is very badly operative to people whom wants to use the sync feature to backup their pics from iPhone (which is obviously, totally legitimate) without creating a new copy called "cache", taking not few Megabytes, as on android, but huge gigabyte by just creating a whole copy of the album…
if somebody found a solution regarding all those threads alerting since a while..

Why is nobody paying attention to this issue? I mean it is so silly to create a copy of a file to send it to the server. If you have to do so, delete it from the cache immediately (or at least give the users a chance to do so).
I remember there was an option for this in the previous versions but somehow I can't find it anymore.
Hi, after upload the image it's removed from cache; so it is not clear how it causes this unless you reload it, and we have added this option:
So I understand the issue.
When you view a photo it still saves it in the cache. In the setting above, the lowest time you can set it at is a week. Would be perfect if there is a delete cache "immediately".
My sister has this exact issue (23Go of cache!) but she also lost many pictures because nextcloud pretended the picture was updated while it was not, so she removed tgemfrom the phone. So my hope is that the pictures may still be there. Can I somehow read the cache to extract these images?
