Markdown files take very long to open
Steps to reproduce
- Create an MD file within Nextcloud on a desktop (e.g. within browser)
- Open MD file on iOS with the app
- Wait
Expected behaviour
MD file should be opened quick.
Actual behaviour
It takes up to 30 seconds (only a white screen is viewable)

It seems this issue seems to have grown worse. MD files created by the iOS app are unable to be edited in the iOS app.
Notes
- MD files created with the iOS app cannot be opened by the iOS app, either by the creator or other iOS users the file is shared with.
- Web client is able to open and edit these documents but the iOS app can't open these even when edited.
- Documents first created by the web client are editable by iOS but still slow to open as mentioned above.
Opening files first created in the iOS app results in the error: "File could not be loaded. Please check your internet connection." and a "Reconnect" button is presented. Clicking the "Reconnect" button results in a never-ending spinning wait circle.

@klingon00 @derritter88 I have the same issue, opened a dedicated issue #2279
I have the same issue as @derritter88 (but not the ones reported by @klingon00 and @deadc0de6) on iOS 4.6.0.19. Expected behaviour imho would be quickly displaying the rendered markdown files in read-only mode. Instead, it takes ~10 seconds to open the .md files in the markdown editor. This delay also happens if files are locally available and the phone is not connected to the internet.
I have the same problem for months, but entirely without iOS, but directly in Firefox (currently v108.1) and other browsers. Even TXT files take about 30 seconds to open. No entry to be seen in the log.
Same exact issue. Excruciating.
Anything new about this behavior? I have the exact same issue with Markdown- and Textfiles in the iOS and iPadOS Apps. There is no problem opening these files in a Webbrowser or with the Notes App for iOS - only the common Nextcloud App has this issue.
Same issue. Opening an empty md files takes about 15 seconds. It's inconvenient to work with markdown notes in such case.
