when you write by hand using the sribble mode or using the arrows there is a lot of lag that does not allow you to write correctly because at first the stroke is not taken for a few seconds. In addition, the introduction of an eraser would be useful

I seem to be having the same issue:

The delay seems to come from the initial POST to:

https://nextcloud.example.com/apps/integration_whiteboard/proxy/api/spaces/ad21b941-e00b-4432-98cc-40f1c7b8809c/artifacts

Once that has returned the app is responsive again.

I can confirm the behaviour Rid mentioned. Also have a 504 Gateway timeout, but this might be an issue with my reverse proxy: /apps/integration_whiteboard/proxy/api/spaces/xxxxxx/actions/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Same issue for me, incredibly slow, the scribble mode is unusable, it's like 10 times worse than the GIF above. I had no issues with the legacy whiteboard on NC 20 however.

What can I do to try to reduce lag? (my server is pretty powerful i don't think this is an hardware issue)

The media upload is not working either, it loads indefinitely (maybe because I'm missing some package, i just installed the app from nextcloud. Will try to manually add them.)

It's a shame, that plugin is in the spotlight of NC21 and nobody gives a ... about that issue. I understand this is free, open-source, volunteer based etc... But disabling the older whiteboard app that worked fine to say that the new one is wonderful and nobody even acknowledge that it's unusable... I don't understand.
