Request: Add mobile phone field to guest users

I want to implement 2FA via SMS and need to associate a phone number with guests. This is needed to mitigate invoice/bank info change fraud so I can't use email for the 2nd auth.

I just noticed even real regular users do not have a phone number field. This is weird.

i need exactly the same functionality. That a specific user can invite a guest with mail and phone number to secure guest login with SMS 2FA...

And, oktayya, i think that all user can change is own contact information like phone number but the admin or other user can't edit this information for other user... To do this i think you have to plugin user management with external solution like ldap or other...

Thanks for the info. LDAP would work for us. Frankly we'd need a solution where they can't change their own info because we'll establish the phone number through other means and take that as official. If someone gets their password and changes it, our whole thing wouldn't work.

We're trying to find a solution to share sensitive files like invoices and avoid IBAN change scams etc.

Actually pulling guest users automatically from Salesforce etc would be really cool too.

i need this stuff to. I search to give the right to edit user information to edit user phone nuber... The best to me is to give guest phone number like you ask ... I continue to search... regards.
