Readable links when sharing

Nextcloud (please complete the following information):

  • Nextcloud Hub 10
  • Forms-Version: 5.1.2 but all others to, I guess

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. When sharing a suvey, the link is cryptic. It could be pleasant when the owner is able to edit this "Lable"

Describe the solution you'd like f.e. instead of this: https://sub.domain.tld/index.php/apps/forms/s/NDiryNis7HjnLSmiHPykpdNN this: https://sub.domain.tld/index.php/apps/forms/s/Feedback

Describe alternatives you've considered Integration in this App: https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/cfg_share_links

Additional context Add any other context or screenshots about the feature request here.

Thank you for your suggestion!

Not really sure about this one, this can include security issues (guessing the token). Also this can simply be done with any URL shortner you like and can even make it shorter as users otherwise would also have to type the whole /apps/forms/s/ part. If you send them the link digitally then the length and format again does not matter as you can copy paste.

So not sure we will implement this soon.

Hi @susnux, thank you for your reply. To defend my request:

As a company we are sending, after finishing our projects, surveys to the customers.

  • The survey ist open and there is no need for security.
  • The readable link has to be an option for those purposes.
  • The crypted Link has to be standard.

Sometimes our costumers, don't fill the survey cause they are afraid of that cryptic link. So my request is about trust.

With the app share_links everyone can "design" speaking links for filesharing with nextcould. Why should it be more risky with forms?

@stefan-rower I agree with you that it's no bigger risk than with files. So feel free to implement it for Forms :) we're always happy about new devs joining 👍🏻

I would love to join and help, but my coding is just enough to manage shell-strips on Linux and manipulate simple php files.
