Describe the solution you'd like A clear and concise description of what you want to happen. If I create a file in a certain folder, I would like a notification to be sent to a specific user. This would be helpful if the notification could be through email.
Describe alternatives you've considered A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered. For the notification, even if it was in the action bar at the top would be a good start.
Additional context Add any other context or screenshots about the feature request here. Example: We use Nextcloud to keep track of bills. Our accountant has access to Nextcloud and to a specific "Accounts Payable" folder. The accounts are divided by subfolders and then those are divided by years. When I place a bill to be paid in the (example: amazon/2025) folder, an email gets sent (maybe customizable) saying "You have a new file shared with you in the amazon/2025 folder."
